This is the teacher i could potentially be because...

I’d like my students know everything that is useful in life, if I just teach them what a book says makes no difference on me as a teacher or a guide, I think whoever could teach what is written on a book; what is not written in any book are my life experiences and what I’ve learned in my life, what could be practical, what could be useful in certain contexts; I like my students to be critics, the critical thinking is essential for me, and I would let my students to get ‘til they want, every single person in my classroom has to make an effort; my education will be potentially individual, I don’t think classrooms of 30 people could be easy to work with, I’ll work on each other’s interests, and to be a great influence in their lives, not the ogre that made ‘em fail the class.

First, if you look at the different teaching models, he is out of them, he seated in front of the classroom to presume he knew everything about life, about everything, just like an erudite, but what he didn’t know is how to teach. If there were any different opinion from the typical he had, he rejected ‘em immediately, once, he asked, what is literature for you?, well, I’m not Shakespeare and I don’t read literature, I prefer to read history, politics, etc., I told him so, and what was the answer, a 0!!, and the rest of the class just for saying literature was ok, they got a 5. Those are the teachers we do not want, and the teacher even if I’m not well paid I’d be. I know teaching is a great responsibility, I take it as serious as a surgeon. It’s a shame being a teacher is not on my agenda of life.

That's the question for this entry, but is not what I would really ask to myself, actually is not my life project and is one of the last thing I'd do in my life, I don't disregard or thick the profession of being a teacher as bad or something, is just one important thing, and is to have the attitude and talent to teach, because is a great responsibility to have other's future in your hands or mouth!.

Let's say that if I get to face any economic crisis in my life, I would get into the profession, but teaching Spanish to foreigners, why?, because I feel more comfortable teaching my mother language, it doesn’t matter if you spent 5 years outside your country and know everything about the language, you always will cognize more about your L1.
